Can Artace tell me whether a painting is real?
It can describe visible clues, related references and reasons for caution. Photos cannot establish physical authenticity. A conclusive opinion may require examination, provenance research and a qualified specialist.
Will I receive a price estimate?
Only when the service finds sufficient verified sales that can support a conditional range. An unsupported number would be misleading. Any range is research guidance, not a professional appraisal or guaranteed sale price.
What references does Artace use?
Selected records from Artace’s private catalogue, retrieved using artist and title clues, plus linked public sources. General AI knowledge is supporting context and may be incomplete or wrong. A small library can leave important gaps.
What if my painting has no close reference?
You may still receive observations and research suggestions. The report will describe insufficient evidence where appropriate instead of inventing a confident attribution.
Do my reports sync with the iPhone app?
No. Website reports are saved in this browser for your account. The iPhone app keeps its own local notebook. Export a report to keep or share a copy.

Before you submit: selected photos and form details stay in this page’s memory. Reloading clears an unfinished draft. Clerk handles account registration and sign-in.
When you evaluate: Artace’s Supabase service processes your selected photos and details with OpenAI and reference context. Your account token goes to Artace’s service. The service does not write painting photos, details or reports to its database; it keeps limited account and request-timing data to enforce usage limits. Hosting and AI providers may retain operational or security data under their policies.
Your report: results may be saved in this browser under your signed-in account. Remove them below or clear site data; downloaded copies remain wherever you save them. Do not use a shared browser for private research.
